Sandwell Homeless & Resettlement Projects ltd is a not for profit organisation operating in Sandwell working with people who are homeless and need support to find housing. The organisation is a registered charity and receives funding from Sandwell Supporting People. The organisation has existed for more than twenty years and currently has three projects; the GAP Project, a Supported Housing Scheme and SHARP Hostel.
MISSION STATEMENT
Sandwell Homeless and Resettlement Project is dedicated to caring for people who are homeless or in need of help in acquiring a settled way of life, through the provision of advice, accommodation and support.
Users are treated with respect and given the opportunity to experience growth in the areas of interacting with others and skill development.
The goal is to create a positive environment that fosters improved self confidence and self esteem.
SHARP Hostel provides direct access, emergency accommodation to people who are homeless and also acts as a sign-posting service to other housing providers.
